Luigi, you are right. The problem should have said n > 0 and n* = √n, without "For all".

By definition the square root is positive and negative, so it should be D. Shouldn't it?

Hi Daniel,

√n is only positive. You get a positive and a negative root when you introduce a root by performing a mathematical operation. For example, to solve the equation x^2 = 4, we square root both sides of the equation, which gives x = square root of 4 and x = negative square root of 4, or x = 2 and x = -2.
