I chose a E as the answer, as I don't think the author has any comparison between the two system. So can anybody tell me why E is wrong?

Wuyan, the passage does compare the two. For example, it mentions that from a historical anthropology's perspective, the inquisitorial system is superior than the adversarial. It also provides examples where the two systems differ, with the overall goal of demonstrating the superiority of one system versus the other.

Why is B wrong? The entire second paragraph supports this answer.
