The equations are missed from the app. It should be:
a + b + c/2 = 60
−a − b + c/2 = −10

Though we know that c=50, we're unsure of what the value of a is. The answer is (E).

A.W., we can use substitution. However, a quick glance into the 2 equations tells us we can solve for c very easily by adding up the two equations. Finally, we have 3 unknowns but only 2 equations, so we know we can't solve for all 3 unknowns.
