The answer is (D). Choice (D) is stated in the passage as follows:
"We must do whatever it takes to ship books in that category on time;"
The whole passage gives justification to this statement, and thus, it is the main point.
Choice (B) makes a claim that is not supported by the passage. Nowhere does it say that IF the company increases its it WILL maintain a competitive edge.
The correct answer to Main Point questions will ALWAYS be supported by the passage.
