Here's the deal:
Mary says: "Computers will make... it easier for [people] to acquire knowledge without consulting experts."
Joyce says: "...computers will probably create a greater dependency on experts.
So Mary and Joyce disagree about whether or not computers will make people more dependent on experts. Therefore, choice (B) is our winner.
