If Q is a quadrilateral, is Q a rectangle?

(1) Opposite sides of Q are parallel.

(2) One of the four angles of Q is 90 degrees.

The author should have stated that ALL opposite sides are parallel. Otherwise, it is not clear that... he means each of the opposing sides or not.

If only two of the four sides are parallel, it does not necessarily mean that Q is a rectangle.

(1) Opposite sides of Q are parallel
Means take ANY side and its opposite, and they are parallel.
Thus a quadrilateral has 4 sides and each side has an opposite side.
