An integer greater than 1 is prime if it is divisible only by itself and 1. Is n prime?

(1) n is between 1 and 4.

(2) n2 − 5n + 6 = 0


(A) if statement (1) ALONE is sufficient to answer the question but statement (2) alone is not sufficient;
(B) ...

When a question states that a number is between a set of numbers, like 1 and 4 in this case, should one always assume that's it doesn't include the first and last number? i.e. 1 and 4? I got this one wrong because I assumed n could be 4, which isn't prime.

Justin, "between" does not include the border values.
