I think A and B are the same meanings,why B is incorrect ?

Ziyi, A and B look the same, but they are not. A has the possibility that all cultures will melt into one uniform culture, incorporating components of all cultures. For example, in America the white people's culture is a melting pot of immigrant European cultures.
B on the other hand, means that one culture overwhelms the cultures of other ethnic groups. For example, the culture of Europeans in America overwhelms and defeats the losing cultures of Native Americans.
