Hello I've reached at the result 36pi square , but I don't understand why the answer is 12pi

Natalia, you arrived at the correct answer. However, you misread answer D. Answer D is not 12π, but π times the area of a circle with d=12.

Eve, as mentioned, answer D is not 12. But it is π x "the area of a circle with diameter = 12"
