Even though the paragraph starters with what ecologists have thought of natural selection, it would be wrong to conclude that the conclusion is also the same. For me the whole point of discussion is whether an individual organism and PERFECTLY adapt to its environment. And the paragraph keeps going making further points as to how impossible it will be for individual to adapt to all kinds of environment due to tremendously varying nature of the environment. Hence the correct answer should be either A or C..some one help
