The conclusion has two things in it, it about (1) market share gained only through purchasing competitor and (2) market gained not gained through more aggressive marketing. The correct answer to the question as to which one casts the most dought on the conclusion, we should be looking at the actual conclusion with in this statement. The actual conclusion (forgive my vocabulary) is number 1, not number 2 and we should be looking for something that weakens that and hence the correct answer should be C
