A massless spring with spring constant k is connected on one end to a wall and on the other end to a massless plate. A mass m is sitting on a frictionless floor. The mass m is slid against the plate and pushed back a distance x. After its release, it reaches a maximum speed v1. In a second experiment, the same mass is pushed back a distance 4x. After its release, it reaches a maximum speed v2. How does v2 compare with v1?
(A) v2 = v1
(B) ...
(C) ...
(D) ...
