Can x or z be negative? If that's the case, d would be the answer.

Hi Perrie,

The equation x = z + 4 implies that x is 4 units larger than z.

It does not matter whether x and z are positive or negative.

For example, if x = -2, then z must be -6. Since -2 > -6, x is greater than z.
